Five years.

It’s been a little over five years since I published Driven.
A little over five years since I took a chance on a challenge I had given myself to write a book and publish it.
Little did I know, that decision would set a course for my life that I had never expected.

And today, is another unexpected moment.

That first book I wrote—a book I had hoped to sell 100 copies of—has now been made into a movie.
Yes, I had to write that because even though I’ve been through every step of its process as well as have watched the final product several times, I’m still not sure I believe this is real.

Watching Colton and Rylee come to life has been an incredible experience for me. It’s also been a huge learning experience. Both of which, I have been extremely blessed to be a part of.

And now I will dust my hands of it and let it go. Now, the nerves I had on May 13th, 2013 when I pushed publish on Driven, return . . . because now this movie is yours.

My hopes for it? For you to enjoy it – plain and simple.

Thank you so much for taking this journey with me. Thank you for having so much passion for these two characters and their story that even after five years, you still love them just as fiercely as you did when you first read them. Thank you for embracing Casey (Colton) and Olivia (Rylee) even when they didn’t fit the exact image you had of C&R in your minds.

I can’t wait to see what you think of the movie.
I Race You.

If you’ve yet to meet Colton and Rylee, Driven is free on all platforms right now.
